Prize Draw terms and conditions

1. Introduction

  

1.1 This document sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that apply to participation in the Breville prize draw competitions (“Competition”) via http://www.breville.co.uk/ and the Breville monthly e-newsletter   

1.2 The Promoter is Jarden Consumer Solutions (Europe) Limited (“Jarden”) of Jarden Consumer Solutions (Europe) Limited, Vine Mill, Middleton Road, Royton, OL2 5LN, the owner of the Breville brand. The Promoter reserves the right to change these Terms at any time and to communicate the changes to entrants by updating these Terms on http://www.breville.co.uk/prizedrawterms   

1.3 By entering the Breville prize draws all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

  

2. Participation

  

2.1 To participate in the prize draws entrants must be:

  • a) Aged 18 or over; and
  • b) Resident in the United Kingdom.

  

2.2 To take part in the prize draw, entrants must sign up to receive our monthly newsletter, and/or provide more information about themselves by answering the 5 multiple choice questions on the more information prize draw page.

  

2.3 No purchase of any Breville product is necessary to enter either prize draws.

  

2.4 The newsletter sign up monthly winner will be the first person selected at random from all the newsletter sign up entries. The more information prize draw winner will be the first person selected at random from all the prize draw entries.

  

2.5 Both prize draws will be taken on the 1st working day of each month. The closing date for entries is 23.59 on the last day of the preceding month. Any entries received after the closing date will be included in future monthly newsletter sign up and/or more information prize draws.

  

2.6 Employees of Breville UK and/or Jarden or any related companies, and their family members, are not permitted to enter the prize draws.

  

2.7 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any late, lost, damaged, incomplete or fraudulent entries.

  

3. Prize

  

3.1 Each winner will receive Breville product(s) from the current Breville range. Product(s) will be pre-determined by Breville UK and prize is not transferrable.

  

3.2 The draws will take place after 9am on the 1st working day of each month.

 

3.3 The winners will be notified via email to the address that they provided for the newsletter sign up.

  

3.4 In the event that contact cannot be made with the winners after 3 attempts the Promoter shall select the next winner at random from the remaining entries.

  

3.5 The winners will receive their prize within 14 days of the closing date. Prizes will be sent out by CityLink.

 

3.6 There is no cash alternative and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.

  

3.7 The winners’ names and counties will be listed on the Breville UK website at www.breville.co.uk/prizedrawwinners

  

4. General

  

4.1 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence on any matter concerning the prize draws will be entered into.

  

4.2 The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or terminate the prize draws or to extend any closing date.

  

4.3 These Terms are governed by English law.

5. Privacy

5.1 As a result of an entrant’s participation in the prize draws Jarden will collect certain personal data relating to entrants. We will process the information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By entering the prize draws you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is truthful and accurate.

  

5.2 Jarden will be entitled to share an entrant’s personal data with organisations assisting with the conduct of the prize draws and fulfillment of the prizes

  

5.4 Entrants have the right to access their personal data held by Jarden or to request that Jarden cease to use such data. Any request for this should be directed to info@pulse-uk.co.uk

 

6. Rights

  

6.1 The entrant assigns to Jarden all rights in all media and in all products generated by or resulting from the prize draws.

 

6.2 By entering the prize draws, the entrant consents to any publicity generated by or as a result of the prize draws and its use on the Breville UK Facebook, YouTube or Twitter pages at any time.
