Great air fryer but
This is a great air fryer, easy to use and so far has cooked everything perfectly
Only small gripe is the fryer comes with 2 small mesh baskets but the inclusion of a large full width mesh basket would make this machine perfect
The instructions are a little brief too, no recipes so this could be made better, but the machine is well made and works great

This all you need!
This Flexi Air Fryer changed my life! I can't believe how helpful is this specially when you need to cook meals for more than just two people! I cooked a medium chicken in just 1 hour and let to turbo crisp for 10 minutes more! The result? Crispy outside and soft inside - not dry at all!!
My guests loved the chicken and decided to try the Air fryer too!!😍😍 I am so in love with this air fryer because you can also cook multiple veggie or other food at the same time as it provides multiple section that can be divided for each food. This is absolutely fantastic! Thank you!!

Great but…
I chose to buy this from John Lewis rather than Amazon as I couldn’t really see the difference and had a JL voucher. I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of recipe suggestions for beginners from Breville but more miffed that the ‘large mesh tray’ featured heavily in the Amazon pictures was not included. I noticed a code difference so thought that I would contact Breville customer support to purchase the missing tray which would be so useful for two layer cooking without the divider. The customer service agent advised that VDF138 featured on Amazon does not exist and was really defensive and said that they were not responsible for Amazon content (photos are staged identically to Breville’s own so I don’t believe they went rogue) and that the large wire trays are not and would not ever be available. All a bit baffling and frustrating as it was primarily purchased as an overflow cooking facility for mass catering at Christmas. Whilst we are cooking for 2, I am enjoying cooking in the baskets though!

Great idea (Model VDF130), but shocking/very disappointing that you can’t buy replacement mesh trays or additional trays. This would stop me buying it had I known. The new model https://amzn.eu/d/1hEHnk3 has a large mesh tray.
Breville (NEWELL BRANDS) need to get their accessories sorted to make their customers happier.

I have alway had ninja air fryer. But I like this one because it is so versatile, one side with the basket and the other side shelves.
The only thing I would say is you need 2 large roasting trays that would be useful when making biscuits. I have emailed them to see if you can buy another one.

Poor build quality
After much research I chose the Breville Halo Flexi. From the moment I unboxed it, I could see it was not a good build quality. The top looked like it had warped slightly. When I started it up for the first heat through, the warping got worse & included the sides. Needless to say, I’m returning it. Such a shame, as I thought Breville brand would be better than the others on the market.

Easy cooking
We were very sceptical about buying an Air Fryer but decided to try this one. wow it's been really great easy to use, easy to clean and very quick to cook with. It's very rare that we use our oven now. Highly recommend this Air Fryer to anyone we talk too.

Great easy to use gadget
I have never used a gadget like this before but now that I have read the instructions and tried it out I am impressed how easy it is to use .The air fryer is very well made, it has different size compartments which are easy to use and easy to clean, you can either use just one compartment or both together each on a different setting and time which is brilliant. You can roast chicken in one and fry vegetables in the other and set different times . Very important is that is almost impossible to burn your hands, the trays cool down very quickly. I airfried some stuffed mushrooms and in only 10 minutes they were ready to serve and turned out very tasty. The only downside is the air fryer takes up a lot of space and very heavy so it is not easy to move around but other than that it's fab.

Needs a metal rack for the larger size
I love this air fryer but it really would benefit from a metal grill ( like the small ones) for the largest size. Please add one or sell it as an optional extra!

i have had this product for about 2 weeks..never used an air fryer before..frankly i am fustrated as ive heard alot of hype that they are economical &easy to use..frm my experiance i dont see what all the fuss is about..ive tryed making chips(with real potatoes) and havent had very good results.. i looked up online to be told i have to par boil chips beforehand...doesnt this defeat the whole reason for having an airfryer...i may not have a hob..i cannot for all my hunting on the internet find any basic instructions for making anything in this model only the oven one...im pretty old school used to cooking in a generic oven i bought this as my microwave broke thinking it was the better option as i see it, it hasnt been..so have ended up buying a microwave...i cant seem to cook real veg in it either..dont believe the hype..also i had a Breville microwave it lasted 6 months started making funnys noises then stopped heating food..

The perfect all rounder and must have!
I was blown away with the results. Yes it’s heathy but it also makes food taste so good! Better than frying in a pan or in an oven. The meat was so tender and tasty. My favourite is the light function which you can use to check on it so uou don’t have to open it. And it also automatically has the ‘flip’ alert to flip food halfway through cooking. I’m in love and can’t wait to experiment with other recipes.

Easy to use
I was a little put off by the size at first especially as we don’t have much workspace however after making a couple of meals I’m totally converted! Having two sections means I can make a whole meal for 2 without using the oven or hob, the trays and mesh baskets means I can cook multiple items in each side and the sync function is a god send instead of having multiple timers running.

Love it but …..
Love my new breville. Had a basic shelved air fryer before this so used to shelving. My only wish is that it had one large basket as well as the two small ones. I know I can use the two st the same time but certain large things need to be cooked in deeper accessories than the tray or mesh tray to collect juices etc. other than this it’s great. Cooks quickly and crisps fabulously!

Two Lights - Very Nice Until They Blow!
Had this Air Fryer since October 2024. Does a very good job and one of it's best features is the two lights that let you inspect the cooking without losing heat by opening the doors. Here's the downside these halogen bulbs can't be replaced they are considered an unrepairable fault. Think twice before buying this model, unreplaceable bulbs is a poorly conceived design fault.

Very good modern air fryer
It's a great air fryer, sturdy and looks great in the kitchen. Doesn't take too much space and the design is modern, good fit for any kitchen. I'm about to cook a pizza on it- it looks very easy to clean as well, it has three compartments that easily detach for a deep cleaning. It's non stick tefal-like material, which saves a lot of time. Love it! I reccommend for sure.

Healthy eating and no hassle
Bought this after researching on several other products… absolutely brilliant with two sides, or remove middle bit and works great as a bigger unit… I love the look and how easy it is to use… also how easy to clean and comparison using normal oven it heats up instantly and no waiting time… just got it and used it five times already… so pleased with it!

I was so excited to try this and it was utterly incredible, I cooked a chicken in it and it was so moist and easy. I also used it for cooking oven food and it saves time, energy and makes the food far more crispy. I cannot wait to use this more and the fact it has two different sections so you can cook things at different times is brilliant

Fantastic addition to the kitchen
I spent forever trying to choose an air fryer and so pleased the Breville won my heart. You name it I have cooked, baked and crisped it and every time loved the results it is so easy to master and clean I couldn't praise this air fryer enough.

Fantastic family air fryer
Large capacity, very easy to use and keep clean. Great for bigger families. Would be useful to include a utensil to remove the fryer baskets and trays as the one included doesn’t fit them. Would recommend for making quick and easy meal times

bought from argos during the 1st use the side of the item was burning hot so had to stop using it i believed that if it was left the plastic down both sides would in time both discolour and warp my smaller air fryer does not get this hot

Its not bad, but .....
I was ecstatic to test the Breville Halo flexi air fryer for influenster. Having previously owned one of the original breville halos many years ago, I had high expectations for this new and 'improved' air fryer. It has great features such as the dual zone function which each operate separately from each other using the handy divider. You can set different times and cooking methods in each zone and even set them to finish together. These are all fantastic features and seem to work well, the airfryer baskets are a generous size but the detachable handle can be quite fiddly and maybe difficult for the less dexterous to use comfortably. The storage drawer under the unit was a handy feature for storing the flat trays, but the trays themselves i found to be a little inferior, they fit will on the chosen runner but during the cooking process, they warp and tilt causing spillages inside the unit so I'd like to see improved runners inside the machine or a more heavy duty/deeper cooking tray that does not warp. All in all though, I was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of programming and totally satisfied with how well it cooks food in general. I will certainly continue to use the breville halo.
