Not great!!Original blade worked for over 1.5 years! It started leaking last September (not even a heavy user, once every now and then, not even daily!!) purchased a replacement in Sept 2017... again it hasn’t been abused, started using it daily this week = 6 times maximum, and tadah, it’s leaking! They might be cheap enough to replace but would appear to be Poor quality if I’m to be honest. Shouldn’t have to keep replacing a product that’s hardly used. I’ve emailed but not holding out much hope having read other reviews about the customer service.

The perfect replacement blade for a broken oneI use my Breville smoothie blender every day. After a short time, the rubber seal from inside the blade broke. I contacted breville and they don’t replace the rubber seal. I had to buy a whole new blade which contained the rubber seal.
I can happily say that - although I now have two perfectly good blades - i now have one complete blade attachment containing a rubber seal. It works without spraying the contents of the smoothie everywhere, which is what’s been happening over the last few months as I’ve tried using rubber bands and tissues as a seal. The replacement rubber seal does all this - It’s amazing.

Wasteful!I needed to purchase a replacement seal for my blender but was told I had to buy the whole blade unit. I tried using other rubber gaskets but none fitted correctly and made it leak. It would be great if they supplied replacement seals, or sent one with the original purchase as lots of people have the same issue. The blend active is a great blender. This isn’t my only issue with it.

Poor qualityI bought this replacement part three months back (as the black unit of the old one started to leak) and haven't used the new one alot but it has fallen apart . The blade came out while i was making smoothie and all the screws and washer came out too.
When i am trying to refit it..its too loose to stay in the place.
So disappointed with the poor quality of the replacement part and utter waste of money .It costed me £8.95 for the replacement (part cost +shipping) which is ridiculus as i could have bought a new one by spending £10 more.

Cheap but should last a LOT longerBought 3 of these to have on hand as the first one only lasted 7 months of once a day use.
Design is generally OK but let down by a the plastic part that mates with the drive on the body of the blender. The metal bolt holding this in place eventually rounds the plastic resulting in no drive to the blades.This part and it's mate should be made of metal. Appreciate this would add a little to the price but it would ensure much longer life for the blades

Plastic band brokeI bought this as love the product and enjoy a daily smoothie although the replacement broke within a week and haven’t heard back from customers service after writing to them via email.

Not fit for purposeFirst one that came didn’t work, had another sent out and that one doesn’t work. Called customer service only to be told it’s the actual machine that must be broke then and that they won’t replace it again. Funny thing is my old top works it’s just started leaking water which is why I was replacing it so how can it be my machine.

Blade bought but only needed the seal!Perfect replacement blade , but disappointed I had to buy the whole blade , when all I really needed was the rubber seal which had broken, resulting in liquid leaking onto the blender base , which cannot obviously be immersed in water to clean it . Would be nice - and cheaper- just to be able to buy the rubber seal independently.
