Brilliantly designed ironI bought this iron to replace my existing one, I spent a long time comparing different irons and it paid off as the Breville is a brilliantly designed iron it has a powerful steam action, easy to use controls that are not easy to hit accidentally during use and is not to heavy . The base plate is good and deep so that the iron stands firm on its base.
All in all I love this iron and am glad I bought it.

Great iron, easy yo use!I do a lot of ironing and get through irons at an alarming rate! I like this iron because it has a large water tank and speeds through ironing in no time! Couple of niggles would be the grooves on the soleplate can catch on sleeves and give them a funny crease although the steam shot or spray function solves this easily. Other than that, the opening to the water tank is made of quite a cheep plastic and hope it doesn't break with all the tank filling I do. I'm exceptionally picky with irons, but I do like this one and would recommend.

Great BuyAfter reading the reviews on this iron I decided to bite the bullet and pay a little more than I would do for an iron and I was only disappointed to discover that just recently it has been reduced in price on another retailers site! Hey ho that's how things go sometimes but I am not disappointed in the irons performance, it has a lovely long cord a large water tank, brilliant steam control and gets through my ironing at a double quick time. Couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend..

good ironing resultsThis irons perfectly. It warms up quickly, the lead is an amazing 3 metres. The 400ml water tank is easy to fill and spill proof. It is quite heavy to use and the handle is large but has the steam function controls there so it has to be held lower down, so for me it loses a star for handle comfort. The ceramic plates are impressive and it has a self clean function. It has a useful auto off feature, brilliant for forgetful people like me! A heat indicator lets you know if its hot or cool. Good iron!My last iron was a breville, I've had it for over 10yrs & was still in use till I bought this one, I only replaced it because I damaged the cable on it. It was an excellent iron so decided to buy breville again, I'm not disappointed! My new breville is everything my last iron was and more! This one is much lighter than my old one, great for me with my RA. I think the price is good to. I don't think I'd ever buy anything other than breville again, good for the job and stand the test of time.

ReturnedUnfortunately i returned this iron as soon as i took it out of the box. It was like a jumbo jet which would have taken up way too much room on my ironing board. Plus the features on it looked very cheap and flimsy. Bought a Philips iron instead which is way better.

Lovely easy gliding ironThis iron is great has made ironing feel less of a hassle the iron glides easily over the clothes I think that's the ceramic plate! it's the same weight as my old iron but doesn't feel it! I love the self turn off function as I'm often ironing then making a cupper etc then back to it (obviously it's still hot if kids are about so always take precautions) has a great steam function and the easy fill water cap makes filling it up so much easier! Also it has a long cable on it too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
