My first machine
My wife doesn’t like coffee so that is why I have waited so long to get an espresso machine. This is my first attempt at becoming a barista. It does what it says and although I have only had it for 2 weeks I am pleased with my results. I have bought a decent tamper, distributor, and collar to stop any over flow when filling pod. I have not bought a separate grinder for that fresher taste. For a first compact machine I am well pleased on my way to become a proper coffee snob. I am trying to find the Neville single wall filter baskets on the web site, but no luck as yet.

Compact machine for great coffee
I love this coffee machine, it's a nice compact model which fits nicely on my kitchen worktops without taking up top much space. You put grounds into the porta filter handle and set the machine going. It will pour a preset amount for a single or double espresso or you can have it pour as much or as little coffee as you want. It then has the steaming wand to make up the warm throthy milk to make lattes and cappuccinos. Very impressed with the quality of drink this machine makes and it's easy to keep clean. Loving this new gadget in the kitchen and satisfies my urge to go to the coffee shop!

Oh my what an amazing slimline coffee machine where do I start 😍This is great for small spaces fits perfectly. It heats up within minutes to give a perfect one or two cup coffee. It has a generous water tank so no need to keep on filling up unless your a big coffee lover like me 🤣The milk frother has a powerful steam creating the perfect milk topper for the coffee. I can now have the perfect cup of coffee without having to leave the house. You can tweak the strength to your liking and it’s so easy to clean 🥰 if your looking for a slimline coffee machine you can’t beat this

Sleek, slim with big taste and power.
From opening the box it's immediately obvious this imna premium product..
The look of the machine is fantastic and offers sleek design to any kitchen. Silver is such a great colour in the kitchen and this has a beautiful brushed steel look. I honestly can't get over the sleek slim design, it's so perfect and can fit anywhere in the kitchen.
Made my first coffee with ease. I just need to adjust my grind to be perfect. The instruction manual give a fantastic in depth amount of information to get things just right for your coffee. Quicker than spending an hour on YouTube.

Little bit disappointed
Great machine but disappointing with the espresso. Dual portafilter with very large space between two spouts makes impossible to fill up small espresso cup. Would like to buy a proper portafilter but can’t find any options to find accessories on the website.

The Breville Barista Slimline Espresso Machine has been a solid addition to my kitchen. The maintenance is straightforward, with regular descaling reminders and easy access to the internal parts. Day‑to‑day operation feels intuitive thanks to the clear controls and consistent pressure delivery. Cleaning is simple — the drip tray, portafilter, and steam wand all detach and easy to wipe down easily, making upkeep quick. In terms of performance, it produces reliably smooth espresso with good crema and a surprisingly powerful steam wand for its size. The learning curve is mild; once you get used to dialing in the grind and tamp, the results become very consistent. Overall, it’s a compact machine that delivers café‑quality drinks without much fuss.

Small but delivers a powerful espresso
So pleased to try this slimline espresso machine. I was apprehensive that a slimline machine could match my bigger machine, but I needn't of worried. The design is amazing and feels very durable. Easy to clean and maintain as well.
The machine offers single or double shot espresso which is fabulous and also a cool touch steam wand which steams your milk to perfection, for a tasty latte. I can't recommend this slimline espresso machine enough. It looks fabulous, delivers a powerful espresso and takes up hardly any room. Very impressed

My new favourite machine
I was literally looking for a machine the day before this came up! It's fantastic especially considering we don't have a lot of space. This is due to it not having a built in grinder so makes it very slim. I have bought pre ground coffee and I'm thinking of buying a separate grinder. It's extremely durable and I think it would take a lot to do any damage to it. Very easy to clean and I just keep a wipe close by for daily wiping. The filter baskets are very tight and difficult to remove but not impossible. The stainless steel milk jug is obviously very easy to clean. The drip tray is a bit small and needs emptying quite often. The maintenance schedule is handy to follow in the guide. The main accessory to buy alongside this would be a milk thermometer, and a grinder.
