Will not lastI bought mine from Sainsburys and had to return within a few months as the steam button stopped working. Sainsburys change the iron under guarantee no problem. After just over a year a strange mark appeared on the ceramic base plate - which I really could not attribute to having struck to any garment. The iron leaks from the fill point and has stained a number of items of white items clothing (Even though no water is left in the iron when not in use). Time for a new iron now and it will not be a Breville.

PoorSounded impressive but it’s just like every iron I’ve ever had: drips dirty discoloured water onto clothes as I’m ironing so I have to wash them again, and the sole plate has suddenly become discoloured! I’ve only had it 7 months! Worst iron I’ve ever had.

Don't buyLiving in a hard water area I have gone through a lot of irons even though I use ionised water.This iron is the worst I have had. The filling cap even when clicked into place works itself open leaking over garment. After only a couple of months steam output very poor. Unfortunately can't find receipt to take back and replace.

Worst IronBought 1 year ago - the worst iron I ever purchased. Heavy, leaking, poor steam function and with a steam button that gets stuck down, I would not recommend this model.

Breville diamondexpressI’ve only had it a few months and it doesn’t steam automatically anymore when the dial is on steam but the steam button does work. It’s also very heavy. I don’t have the receipt so I’m stuffed!!!

Loved it at firstLoved this iron at first powerful steam was reqlly good, but as time as gone on everything was sticking to the same part of the soleplate as other people pictures on here, some kind of design fault.
This is after a 4th attempt of trying to clean the product
