Burning smell & smoking!
Had the green & white blender for years & it worked great. When it stopped working just over a year ago, I replaced it with the black & gold one. This worked fine until just over a week ago when I was making my usual smoothie & smelled burning. I looked down to see smoke coming out from the bottom of the blender! I contacted customer services regarding this & it took them over a week to reply, at which point they just offered a replacement at a reduced price. I may as well just have gone at bought it at B&M for the price they offered! Absolutely no concern from them for how dbagerous this could've been. I have decided to purchase a different brand completely. I won't use Breville again.

Poor quality
I have had several issues with the teeth wearing after few uses.
The customer services team at Newell have been responsive and helpful but the quality of the product is poor

Fire !!
I bought this blender and have used it a maximum of 7 times before it started smoking and producing a really strong smell. I luckily saw the smoke and turned it off before an electrical fire fully started.

Started smoking after first use
I bought this via very to replace my older make Breville blender after first use making a protein shake as I do every morning it started smoking and strong burning smell

I bought this to take to Egypt I so love this so convenient pop all fruits in and blend and go I took the juice it to the beach with me every morning I just love it

Broke on the third use
I was making a protein shake with frozen fruit and the parts that rotate the blades broke off. I don't see glasses sold separately

3rd one in 20+ years
I bought this as I loved my other two so much. However I was disappointed to learn that my bottles used for the previous two will not work with one. And it is very hard to find additional 600ml bottles and impossible to find the smaller bottles. Also, when I did find the 600ml bottle it is priced at nearly 75% of the price of the blender/bottle combo.
