Capable of boiling a cup of water in less than a minute, the Breville HotCup Water Dispenser is the perfect alternative to a kettle for families who are always on the go. The super-quick speed of the water dispenser combined with the energy-efficient design provides endless benefits for those looking to brew up their favourite hot drinks.
From instant coffee and cocoa to loose-leaf tea, the versatile Breville HotCup Water Dispenser can help you make hot drinks in under a minute. Perfect for those who don’t like waiting for their morning pick-me-up or busy households with sizeable brew runs.
The 1.5l water tank holds 5-7 cups’ worth of water – accommodating a full hot drinks round. To refill the tank, simply open the push-button lid and fill from the tap. This simple yet innovative design means you can boil water in incredibly quick times without having to connect to the main water supply. The quick-boiling action of the hot water dispenser is provided by the high-power heating element.
Complementing the modern kitchen, the hot water dispenser boasts a sleek black design with polished stainless steel trim. The blue illumination of the water tank is pleasing on the eye, and clarifies when the water has been boiled. Furthermore, because the hot water dispenser only boils the water it uses, it is far more energy-efficient and economical than the standard kettle.

I love this product!I bought this item from Breville as my son has one in Malta. I was so impressed with it then, upon our return to the UK I purchased one. When using a normal kettle there is inevitably water left over which is then thrown away - such a waste when you are on a water never! We live in a very hard water area, near Filey, Nth York's reboiled water tastes vile. As my husband doesn't want as many cuppa's as me it has been a Godsend. However, when it was first used it went bang! Fused the plug. Once the fuse was replaced there has been no problem. We absolutely love it, and if and when it 'dies' I shall very sharply replace it! Thank you Breville?

Hot Cup - works for meThere appears to be a lot of faulty ones out there - Breville you should look into this. I bought mine from Asda about a year ago - it is fine for me - if i want a pot i add a jug under the water dispenser, It is hot - i did manage to burn myself - my own fault. It does what it is supposed to - i have no problems with it BUT what other people say is also correct, it is limited to its water capacity - but that's what it is if you want more buy a better model, this is basic but its meant to be. I am happy with my version as it is what I purchased, next time i will purchase a more upgraded model but it does what it is supposed to do

Horrible kettle stay away from....I hate this kettle....
I brought this kettle hoping it would make my day easier as I’m a disabled man and only have the use of one arm. This kettle has a mind of its own, at times you have to push the switch multiple times just to get it started then it either turns it self off mid boil or once its boiled it’ll stay on and boil again and if you not next to it you’ll get two cups of water in one cup!! I thought it was just mine but a friend has a newer version of this kettle and has the same problem... Don’t buy one as I never will ever again. I’ll upload a video once YouTube lets me.

Thought it was perfectI thought it was perfect but then it started to spit out two cups instead of one. I phoned up as Argos told me I had to and got a very unhelpful person that just said well u need the number and have u cleaned it not telling me how to do it. So not helpful at all I then clean it after looking for the way to do it in the book after searching for the book and now it just keeps spitting all the water out until it’s empty. I got this cause I’m disabled and I can’t pick up a kettle so this hasn’t helped me at all and now I’m just getting more and more stressed about it so no if u have the choice don’t buy

Perfect for my home office...Got this with a voucher that I had for Christmas. I have an office at home which is at the top of our 4 storey house so was a pain to keep traipsing up and down the stairs to keep making tea/coffee. It dispenses a perfect amount of water for me and is much hotter than I expected it to be. I am very pleased with it and glad that I chose this over a machine that takes 'pods' as I feel it gives me much more choice with less expense than a specialised coffee machine would. The noise isn't bad, it. only lasts for a few seconds and is no worse than a kettle in my opinion.

lasted around 15 monthsThis water dispenser was ideal for my needs as I find it difficult to lift a full kettle. Unfortunately after around 15 months it became faulty by reboiling once it had dispensed one cup of water. This was very dangerous as boiling water poured over my worktop and caused a socket to blow. Customer services were very helpful and offered me a discount on a new one as it was no longer under guarantee. Unfortunately the website did not accept my debit card ( think its credit card only ) and customer services never got back to me. I have now reverted back to a ‘normal’ kettle as I read similar reviews and could not risk the same thing happening again

DONT! Terrible replacement for old style hot cupHonestly, loved the first one we had, eventually the element went, so thought we would buy this, what a mistake. There is no choice of amount of water to dispense, the whole point of the first one….doh and it doesn’t fit a travel mug….really? Even car manufacturers think about that!! What the designers were thinking when they made this. Doesn’t fit a travel mug…..wow! Classic case of “you only had one job….” and not to mention the whole thing is plastic junk. Buy the better one, we had to, and Breville, just don’t sell this, your ruining your good name.

misleading and not fit for purposeTotally misleading description and not fit for purpose. Doesnt boil the water, it barely gets to 80 degrees which is fine if you dont have milk in your tea or coffee but as soon as you add any milk then you have a warm cup at best. Also only dispenses a fixed amount each time so you have to have the exact right sized cup or mug. If its too small its spills water everywhere, if its too big you only get a fraction of a cup.
Dont waste your money on this buy a kettle instead then just add the amount of water you need.
