Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again... Purchased the newer model to replace my old model - wish I hadn't. I used the blender daily to make protein coffee. The blender itself is great hence my 'fair' rating. The lids are absolutely useless. Bought in February 2023 I now have exactly 0 lids that fasten shut. The little 'lip' broke on the first two within 6 months and the last 2 over the last couple of weeks. The old lids were much more robust. Been and bought a far more superior blender from a competitor - I wish I'd done this to start with...

Bought new models and was surprised to see the bottle design had changed. The plastic catch looked a little flimsy and a few days of usage... it snapped. Bottle is now next to useless as nothing is sealing the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as the older model I bought this to replace my older breville of 6 years. I had to return it after 2 weeks as it burnt out.( I kept the 2 bottle) the second one I've had for a few months, and I can often smell burning. I'm expecting it to die any day now, the motor is not as powerful as in the previous model. Saying that, at the moment it still does the job it is supposed to do, I just make sure I unplug it after use. Also, the catches on the lids of all 4 bottle have broken and the lids do not stay closed without the catches. All the lids from the bottles on the older model broke too, but at least they still clipped on due to the different design. My daughter bought one at a similar date, and she also smells burning while in use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish This is the second one I’ve had within a year and the same fault occurs , the top you fix to the bottle and then fix to the power part is useless, the little noggins that make it turn are made of rubber and perish quite easily, I know it’s only a £30 mixer but it’s still crap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it What a great little blender set! Small so easy store in your kitchen but packs a punch powerful enough to blend up frozen fruits and ice. Handy on the go bottles mean less washing up as you blen in the bottle and then just add a lid and off you go. Bottles come in two sizes small and large. Both perfect for various blended drinks. Simple single button operation makes it easy to use. Bottle come with coloured tops. Easy to clean the blades after use. Nice white shiny plastic finish on the blender makes for easy cleaning. The unit is fairly small so makes storage easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lid problems i wrote a review yesterday just on the bottle. My lid snapped after using about 6 times. After i wrote the review my Mrs suggested i was just a heavy handed. With that she snapped hers. We bought this family version so we have 2 left. Can’t find any replacements. Don’t know if i have a bad batch but the lip is quite big and the lid plastic is quite brittle so don’t know if it’s a design flaw. The old ones where better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smokey smoothies I bought this because Breville, in my eyes, has been synonymous with good quality kitchen appliances. However, after having it for less than 48 hours, I have been forced to seek a refund. Why? As I was preparing a 300ml mango and strawberry smoothie, I noticed a small amount of smoke in the air. The smoke got thicker. It was at this point that I realized my brand new smoothie maker was effectively on fire. It was unceremoniously unplugged and put outside. frankly I'm very disappointed as looking in to this it's not the first time someone has had this problem. Breville you need to find a solution. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. To say it's tarnished my view of Breville would also be an understatement. I am unlikely to consider Breville for any future kitchen appliances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product This product is brilliant to use. Its really handy it comes with 4 bottles, 2 smaller size which is brilliant for children to encourage some fruit and veg in their diet in a tasty smoothy. It is really simple to use, you screw the blender lid on the top of the bottle, turn it upside down and attach it to the base. It's fairly noisy whilst blending which is to be expected. It doesn't take long though, and blends really well. Then you detach it from the base, turn it upright, take off the blender lid and screw on the normal drinking lid. It has been a great addition to our family.
