A very Nifty little machine
Having got tired of having lengthy sessions with liquidizers I thought I would try this blender. I am very happy with it. It takes me about 5 mins to make a drink in it from scratch, and wash it up. My only complaint is that its mark showing how far to fill it up, is more or less invisible, can only be felt not seen. Had the mark been made in a colour, it would be very useful. Am thinking of marking it myself with an indelible pen. The really quick way of cleaning it, is to put a drop of washing up liquid in the bottle, followed by warm water up to the invisible mark, then zapping it for 2 seconds, then rinsing out the soap.

5 years and still going strong
Have owned my Blend Active for 5 years now, originally purchased on sale so actually a bargain! I use them to mix up protein smoothie so blending oats, frozen fruit and protein powder which it does with no issues and have used it almost daily for the past three years (periodically before that.) Bottles, blades and lids always go in the dishwasher. The original two bottles/lids are only just looking like they need to be replaced, the lids may well last longer if hand washed as they have just started to show fractures probably due to the heat in the dishwasher. Overall a great little product that has proven it lasts, fingers crossed the new bottles I've ordered are made to the same quality!

Brevile active blend
I have had this for years and absolutely love it. Sadly I’m moving over to a different make due to the lids not lasting long. Breville do not sell lids separately and with everyday use their lids only last a couple of months. I have had to purchase now, 16 bottles just for the lids and cannot justify this cost anymore. They split at the front then leak when you take a sip. Such a shame as otherwise a great product.

A perfect blender at an incredible price!
This is a such a fantastic product, especially for the price! I was making a smoothie within a few minutes of getting it out of the box. Very easy to setup and use and it’s great that the blending bottle attachments can quickly be switched to transform into a takeaway drink. I was thrilled to get two bottles and caps which is a great help if I use this daily so there’s always a clean bottle and cap ready for me. I’ve tried with fruit, yogurt and milk but also I made an ice coffee too, really delicious and the milk went frothy and creamy. Really recommend and a fantastic price.

Perfect blender
This is such a great little blender for all your blending needs. At the push of a button it blends in no time. I have used this with fresh/frozen fruit, protein powder, ice cream, ice and blends with ease. I love the fact that the blades blend ice as some other blenders don't have the capability to blend ice. This is because this blender is very powerful. There's an easy twist in motion with the bottle in order to blend. And the bottles and blades are so easy to clean. The bottles themselves are very sleek with an easy open cap. I would highly recommend this blender to anyone who wishes to blend stuff on a daily basis

Disintegrating item choking hazard
Warning! While making a smoothie for my daughter and I, we were half way through drinking them when my daughter all of a sudden noticed something black in the smoothie.
Shockingly we then pulled out a 1cm size lump of black plastic as seen in the photo attached.
On examining mine, i could see it was full of black dots. We had already consumed half of our fruit smoothies and have been very concerned that we have now consumed plastic.
I have contacted Breville and they replied promptly and asked for photos which I did. They also offered a replacement however that was not my concern!
My biggest concern is that i asked them for what type of plastic it was made from so I could check the toxicity of it, and 1 week on, I still have NOT got a response. This is now a HEALTH HAZARD!

A family friend brought it for me for Xmas.. I am a caterer and wasn't pleased with another useless gadget! But how wrong!! Easy peasy to use.. Quick, no mess - 3 use up all those odd fruits with milk and enjoy..

The perfect next step in my healthy eating plan
I bought this from my local supermarket in favour of the more expensive juicers that seemed to do exactly the same as the Blend Active. Can honestly say that this cute little green machine has changed my eating habits for the better. I have been using it for 4 weeks now and not only have I lost a few more stubborn pounds but my skin is amazingly clear and I have so much more energy!
The machine itself is small enough to live permanently on my worktop, the blades clean up with a little bit of fairy liquid and a rinse under the hot tap and the bottles are just as easy to clean. I pop them in my bag for work and take one filled with water to the gym. They have never spilled and the slim design makes them easy to carry.
I fully recommend this machine.
