1. Follow the instructions under filling your steam generator and fill the water tank as described. Empty the water tank to rinse out any foreign particles and then refill it.
  2. Follow the instructions under steam ironing.
  3. Pay attention to the need to prime the pump by operating the steam boost a number of times to pull water through the system.
  4. Iron an old cloth (cotton or towelling is ideal for a few minutes. While operating press the steam trigger 4 or 5 times.
  5. Any impurities will be flushed from your steam generator by the steam and absorbed by the cloth.
  6. Your steam generator is now ready to use.
